After receiving a great deal of attention with the release of the singles « DAT Jazz » and « Hoodie Music », Montreal's rapper L.Teez announces The Half Full EP, his first short album, to be released on November 16th via Musjo Records. Finding its core in Hip-Hop music, the six titles reunited on The Half Full EP are tainted with jazz influences, a balance of horns and piano melodies subtly intertwined with the rhythm and flow of the lyrics. This eclectic blend occurs especially on « Dat Jazz », where the trumpet recalls the sounds of Donald Bird with a lyrical rhythm similar to The Roots. L.Teez celebrates his passion of the art on « Love », look positively into a future without any regrets on « Stone Drops » and celebrates the city of Montreal with « Hoodie Music ». For his very first effort, the singer-songwriter called on the collaboration of pianist and producer Jay Century, with help from musicians Raphael Coqblin and Jeremie Poirier Quinot, orchestrated by Gee (who previously worked with Rihanna, Young Avz, Karl Wolf, Corneille).
