To date the identity of BABA NYZA is unknown. Maybe he is the guy in his cover art. Maybe not. That could just as easily be a model as well. We don't know! What little we do know is that his/their debut single, The Afternoon, is an eclectic combination of Adam Levine style vocals against the backdrop of an ambient, dark, soothing tone. The vocals are angsty, sorrowful, and syrupy and the falsettos pierce when they arrive. The lyrics are poignantly scandalous and whoever, or rather whomever, BABA NYZA is/are there is no question about the music. It's damn good. Who are you BABA NYZA?
