I wrote Breakthrough at a pivotal time of change in my life. Unsatisfied with my day job I started looking for better options. My girlfriend and I were going through some tense disagreements so I took time to focus on us and realign. I had not written a song since I was a teenager, but once I got back into my creative process my passion for music was reignited. A breakthrough is the moment when you accept there is no turning back. A breakthrough is when you charge forward with all your might and blow past barriers. A breakthrough is an epiphany where you recognize your true calling. Once you have your first breakthrough, you start thinking about other areas in your life that you can change for the better and you have the opportunity to enter a virtuous cycle. Initiating change for the better over and over again. Breakthrough, hustle hard, take two. Are you ready for your breakthrough?
