BumpCut Records are proud to open their account with Lee Walker's 'Prime Time' EP. The UK based producer has been prolific over the last few years with releases on Defected, Hot Creations, Hotflush, Circus Recordings and many more. His unique, bumpy, rough cut style has a long list of supporters including Marco Carola, Dixon, Loco Dice, Seth Troxler and Disclosure so we are delighted that he is joining us along with Matteo Floris and Ekai for our maiden release. Opening the EP, the title track 'Prime Time' features a foundation of shuffled rhythm and tonal percussive elements. Contributing to the former is a prominent and leading vocal hook that marries up with subtle melodic components, FX and a groovy bassline. Next up, 'Sistemic' is an upbeat, thumping house track. Again sporting a strong and engaging vocal hook but this time comes with pounding drums to give it more of a warehouse feel. Carrying with it a slight tinge of 90's rave inspiration, this is definitely a strong choice for some peak time nostalgia. Matteo Floris' remix of 'Prime Time' takes a punchy, underground angle. Very much a heavyweight adaptation of the original track, with a modern tech house directive. Clever use of FX and twisted vocals meet suspense-filled builds, huge drops and a thunderous sub bassline. Last but not least, Ekai's remix of 'Sistemic' takes a lighter and groovier approach. Removing the need to stomp your feet and instead bob your head along with the beat. Punchy drums and a catchy bassline link up with atmospheric transitions and plenty of energy throughout, making this a reliable source to get people on their feet. Lee Walker's 'Prime Time' EP featuring remixes from Matteo Floris and Ekai is proudly presented by BumpCut Records
