'Missilence' is the first single from London/Bristol-based artist Kiran Kai, taken from his upcoming EP 'XYZ'. The track is produced by Fwdslxsh (Swae Lee, Pusha T, 6lack, PARTYNEXTDOOR) and "Ben Baptie" (Moses Sumney, Rex Orange County, London Grammar). The song has an energy reminiscent to that of Belgium-based rapper "Hamza" and Toronto-based duo "88GLAM". Throughout the sonic collage, guitars, violins and distorted vocals skate over skeleton-rattling 808's and organic earthy drum sounds. His approach to writing music is pure "jazz" - improvisation, free-flow and stream of consciousness - "capturing the moment" and creating "sonic journeys/trips" blur the lines between definitions of "noise", "sound" and "music" inspired by Sun-Ra and John Martyn.
