Sugarshine's sophomore release "Live Free" is rooted in rich melodies, tight rhythms, and an ever-present positive vibe. Since the band's 2017 "Better Days" album, Sugarshine grew from a backyard party band into a recognizable name in the East Coast reggae scene. They earned a spot on the Surround By The Sound Festival and have shared the stage with Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, Badfish, New Kingston, Sun-Dried Vibes, Treehouse!, Signal Fire, Of Good Nature, The Elevators, Tropidelic, Bumping Uglies, Tatanka, Sensi Trails, Roots of Rebellion, Little Stranger and many other great bands. Why "Live Free" and why the astronaut on a beach?... Well its kinda like knowing you are not where you're meant to be, like if you can just get there everything will be alright. It's like feeling like an alien among your world. So the "Live Free" name is more than just a song on the album, but a suggestion of what to do. Live free, live fearless, live with love for yourself and those around you. Live like you got something more out there. Strive for that! Work for that! And live for that!
