Youssoupha returns with his exclusive title "Astronaut". This clip, shot in Abidjan, which he himself co-directed, combines powerful paintings and an introspective concept. The result is strong in meaning and emotion. The force of words remains the first identity of the great lyricist Bantou. There are some fine references to American rap in what it has of limitless, grandiose scenographically. Youssoupha is indeed returning to abandon himself in a distant universe but within reach.
