He is Dane! The talented, Los Angeles based, R&B artist is back with his 3rd EP titled "W.H.A.L.E" an acronym meaning "What Happens After Long Effort" and its truly eclectic & paramount to him. On this project you can tell that Dane has a sense of entitlement from start to finish as he has found his sound. No more breakup songs or album fillers, he's marching on a war path. This project is one of his best accomplishments for now. The listener is definitely in for a treat. Dane's growing as an artist, and on this mini album you will witness his growth as a singer/songwriter whose taking a stance with lines like "The system designed to murder your blackness". As well as the intro line on his single "Cash Rules" he says "The most precious thing in life, to us as humans is time." Powerful lyrics accompanied by catchy melodies make this his best work to date. Once you press play on this album, you're probably going to have it on repeat for awhile. It's that good! From the intro track he draws you in with "A Moment", to the final track "No Kidden" where he kind of grabs his "cojones" figuratively speaking. What I mean by this is music's about making timeless pieces that a fan can enjoy, as well as learn from when they choose to. While also withstanding the test of time and allowing the listener to escape reality from time to time. Dane has created an amazing piece of art with this EP. This is his gift to the world "W.H.A.L.E", enjoy!
