We all have things that test us throughout life that's going to define what kind of person we're meant to be. This will define what kind of impact we will have as an individual amongst other people. Some undeniably have it worse than others when it comes to dealing with these tests of life. Ultimately no matter what your internal struggles may be, they all effect us as humans emotionally and mentally. Unfortunately the lack of being outspoken about these issues and what we are going through, especially as younger people; can result in very poor mental health, which is very common and in even worse cases, result in self harm/suicide. Within the past 6 years of my life... transitioning into adulthood, leaving my hometown, gaining and dealing with myself, using vices and finding myself as a person, I've been fortunate to come across some people and go through experiences whether they hurt me mentally, physically, or emotionally I can say I have came out came out as a stronger person because of it. Throughout it all I've learned to embrace what I use to think of as flaws and things I was self conscious about, I turned them into what I could strive off of and be more confident in my artistic self. Vices Hurt represents my struggles, my achievements, my new ideas, and what I've had to deal with to get to this state of mind and point in my life. Yet I have so much more to conquer and figure out, I'm fully confident with the people I have behind me and know nothing but greatness is coming our because we're not settling for anything less. - Tony Velour
