Following up a string of versatile singles, including the tribal 'Shakin' It' and the spectral 'Like A Ghost', Francis Mercier returns with the mounting 'Treat Me Like A Lady'. Teaming up with London vocalist Jeanne Naylor, the two craft a jam that builds passion out of respect. Setting the mood with sullen guitar strums and expertly timed hi-hats and snares, Francis builds tension, experimenting with timbre and texture, until the passion breaks through purple-hued bass intent on carrying the heat of the summer well into the cooler months. 'Treat Me Like A Lady' doesn't just invite you to dance; rather, like the chorus, the song demands it.
