As part of a series of real-time composition concerts, "The Sessions VI" is a 50-minute track split into multiple movements. The EP was recorded live in one-take back in November 2018 at the RBB Sendesaal in Berlin. During the Cold War period, this building was home of "Sender Freies Berlin", representing a "free West-Berlin". Tangerine Dream's show at the world's oldest self-contained broadcasting centre, was the first public appearance together with Paul Frick on stage, before he became a full member of the group. Juno Records Review: "melodic elements that subtly twist and turn, evolving in real time, while counter melodies and swelling chord sequences rise and fall around them. It's hugely enjoyable and should entertain confirmed fans and newcomers alike."
