Magician On Duty
I have feared the Future's bite I have fought the hero's fight And sometimes bailed And sometimes failed I have faced the Soul's dark night But always trusted in the Light To carry me where wings must go And trusted blindly in the Flow To whisk me to the highest heights So when you see this smile here A smirk that's pierced the eyes of Fear I couldn't fake it if I tried I have braved the fog of lies And all of us who live in Truth And break free from the chains of Pride We stand here as the living proof Of the Magic that pervades a smile.
