The Connection is the first single of the forthcoming production album by Platterpush & Codeks. The song features Bristol's Res One (Split Prophets) and Sydney's finest Hammy, Wise Guy and P.Smurf. The title of the single describes the process of the connection achieved through making music together, where total strangers from other sides of the planet can establish a mutual understanding through the creative process. Musically the Connection would best be described as a classic Boom Bap posse track reminiscent of artists like A Tribe Called Quest and Wu-Tang Clan who would feature numerous emcees all displaying their own unique lyrical delivery and perspective.
