The Human Symphony
Sam-Jackson Jemimah Simdiga, with the nationally acknowledged stage name, Meemah Jackson is the first, and only human symphony there is. This 23 year old sensation from Adamawa State of Nigeria began her music at a very young age, participating in school perfomances and finding her musical gift that distinguishes her today from every other singer. She's the first child and only girl of her parents, and went through Airforce Primary School, and Airforce Girls Comprehensive School, Jos. Then, she studied mass communication at the University of Jos. In an industry wherel ittle is heardf rom northern women, Meemah is heralding a new sound that reveals a culture yet to be fully explored. Her voice is an instrument she uses to share the emotions and truths behind her songs and she believes that her personality reflects in her art, complementing it in a balanced symphony. Meemah Jackson has released wave breaking singles including 'Show You' that introduced the world to her theatrics. Although she has no specific genre of performance, her message is clear in all her songs: love. 'In a world teeming with greed, hatred, and all the negativity you can think of, I choose love, relatability, and kindness.' Meemah believes that not even multiple heartbreaks can stop her from loving and she needs to share this hope to every one in the world.
