Supported by David Rodigan on Radio 1/1xtra 'Stand By Me' is the first single in a collection of tracks that are inspired by Idris Elba's directorial debut YARDIE. Each track in the project samples dialogue and score from the movie to create their own interpretations of sound system club tracks or whatever inspiration an artist may draw. Idris Elba collaborated with Kranium and Tanika for his reggae based interpretation. YARDIE opens in US cinemas on the 8th March.
