Laura is a prolific songwriter and classically-trained musician who has written over 100 songs with some of today's biggest writers, totaling over 200 million streams across streaming platforms. In 2019, she dropped her debut EP, ME, followed by the YOU EP out on Oct. 2. The music video for her single, "Boombox," has nearly 70 Million views, which made her one of the Top 10 Emerging Artists on VEVO. Laura has performed on the TODAY show, the Radio Disney Music Awards, and at the People Magazine Summer Concert Series, as well as numerous radio shows and concerts. 2020 was the introduction to Laura's YOU era. In April she released its first single "When You Wake Up," setting the tone for the project with a moodier, more mature sound. She followed with "Can't Hold On Forever," accompanied with a "Live At Home" performance that has been featured on MTV's Top-Requested Friday Livestream, as well as duet versions of her first two singles. Laura's "Honest With You" is a bubbly, indie-pop track about entering the daunting phase of a relationship in which "the need to be vulnerable is inevitable." All of this work culminated in the release of her sophomore EP, YOU, released on Oct. 2. Laura is also widely known for starring as Ally in the Disney Channel international hit television series "Austin & Ally," for which she won Favorite TV Actress at the Kids' Choice Awards. In 2019, Laura starred in the breakout Netflix romantic comedy feature THE PERFECT DATE, for which she won Choice Comedy Movie Actress at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. Laura also starred in and produced the dramatic feature SAVING ZOE about online sex trafficking, along with her sister, Vanessa Marano, and mother, Ellen Marano. She was seen opposite Robert DeNiro, Christopher Walked and Uma Thurman in the family comedy, The War With Grandpa, in early Oct. 2020.
