While Charles-Alain Roy, aka Aleatoire has just released his new project in collaboration with Canadian singer Alina Libkind (the EP "Maps on the Palms"), AvaYasmina flies to Montreal in search of a new creative energy. For the singer- songwriter, Montreal represents all that she seeks in music: freedom, originality and diversity. After a few years in Paris and an EP, "Sunnydale » that remained rather exclusive, the future musical partner of Aleatoire decides to leave a musical environment that does not suffice anymore. In the Quebec capital, after good encounters AvaYasmina managed to give to her EP at Aleatoire which is then pleased and intrigued by this new voice that mixes both r'n'b sounds and electronic originality. Aleatoire, eager to embark on a new adventure, invites AvaYasmina to try out new musical experiences, to see where it could lead to. It was without suspecting that the result of this new international collaboration will bring to life several songs, of which "Smash Love" is now the title track. Mixing both the warm and powerful charm of AvaYasmina's voice and the experience of Aleatoire, this pop track, with summer accents, marks the official beginning of this promising feature. The alchemy of the two artists is undeniable; their respective visions and their approach to music is a winning combination. Both like the mix of genres and this idea of being able to add the missing touch to each other's work is undoubtedly what makes their collaboration relevant and consistent; And it is certain that this almost providential encounter has more to offer. Top partners worked on this first single, Howie Beck was in charge of the mix (Charlotte Day Wilson, Tiber River, Fanny Bloom) and the artwork has been designed by the talented Cecile Gariepy known for her unique and colorful illustrations.
