Derek Lee cranks up the energy with his debut EP, a fresh take on the classic oldskool hardcore sound. Introducing the first release in the Rejuvenate series, Derek breathes new life into the genre while keeping the iconic 90s vibes alive and kicking. As Derek puts it, Im an original raver from back in the day, and hardcore music is still really special to me. I still love the tunes and the vibes that only this type of music gives! The tracks on all the EPs are crafted as if I were back producing in the early 90s, but wanting to evolve the genre. I didnt want to simply rehash old tunes - the idea was to push the genre further. The music is designed to resonate with old headz and new dance music lovers alike.
