PUNCHLINE ENG Following the success of his last releases (more than 225,000 listens), William Papillon is back with a summer collab with producer and singer Bazzart, who has been heard lately alongside several Quebec artists to watch out for such as Vince James, Vendou, Greg Beaudin, Joe Rocca and Hockitay. William pulls another rabbit out of his hat with this refreshing association of Pop and RnB sounds that will be heard on French radio stations following a radio promo orchestrated by Artifice. DESCRIPTION ENG In close collaboration with Bazzart, the new song "plonge" by William Papillon and the Montreal songwriter is an ode to summer flings. After the introspective pieces of his previous EP, William comes back with a light wind and offers a candid and sunny performance. The track is carried by opposite vocal timbres from the two performers and supported by an r&b pop instrumental on which we hear the richness of real instruments from the producer Bazzart. The song will be in summer playlists to end the sunny season. The single will be released on August 26th. BIO ENG Fully out of his cocoon following the success of his first EP Vagabond, William Papillon works non-stop and offers a surprising collaboration with the talented multi-instrumentalist Bazzart. Under the artistic influence of both his parents, he draws his inspiration from legends such as David Bowie or Bill Evans. Following his studies in percussion, he continues to be self-taught and is becoming more and more prominent on the Montreal music scene with his beats composed mainly with real instruments such as flute, saxophone, trumpet, cello and many others. They can be heard on albums by Vince James, Greg Beaudin, Joe Rocca, Whitie and Hockitay to name a few. The meeting of the two worlds creates an explosive big bang, the nucleus of a promising collaboration for both artists. Close your eyes and dive in!
