For the next slice of impeccably crafted electronic music on 1HX we turn once again to Kuala Lumpur native Cuurley for his uplifting house productions. Things get off to a fine start with the laid-back rolling vibes of 'Pace'. Anchored by a propulsive, bouncing beat and elevated by its hands-in-the-air reverb drenched vocal samples, 'Pace' motors along with infectious energy. On the flip, the energy ramps up a notch on the sweet and soulful 'Always', whose lush chord progressions and saturated lead bass-line combine to form an immense groove. Based out of 1Hundred Studios in Kuala Lumpur, and a sister project to Fallen Tree 1Hundred -- the new label begun by Goldie catering to music falling outside of his usual Drum & Bass remit -- the team now expands to include a new imprint: the dance-focused 1HX.
