Overview - Actor and DJ Idris Elba has teamed up with The Knocks and Tiggs Da Author on new feel good single 'One Fine Day'. The release (which features two versions of the track) will be accompanied by full radio, club and press campaigns in the UK/ Europe and USA with a focus on specialist and mainstream radio. Idris will also release an animated lyric video on release day. The Knocks are a New York City-based production and DJ institution who have collaborated with the likes of Foster The People, Whethan, Sofi Tukker, Big Boi, Method Man, Cam'ron, X Ambassadors. London rapper/singer Tiggs Da Author is know for his tracks 'Run' and 'Georgia' and collab with Nines 'Oh My'. The artists' combined monthly listenership on Spotify is 4.5 million. Radio - Idris' most recent release 'Girl With The Bat' (May 15th) had support from Pete Tong on Radio 1 who said 'Man like Idris Elba is back sounding strong'. His new track is on heavy rotation on Kiss FM with plays from DJ SKT, Majestic, Charlie Powell, Justin Wilkes, DJ Pioneer, Andi Durrant and has been added to the Kiss Dance playlist. Idris has had extensive specialist radio support in the UK, Europe and America on his 2019 track 'Ballie' with Kah-Lo, and also remixes of his 2019 track 'On Life' by Jack Back (David Guetta) and Illyus & Barrientos. Live - Idris recently hosted and performed on MTV's Africa Day concert (May 2020). He also played at Defected's virtual festival to an audience of 100K. In 2019, Idris completed a DJ residency at Hi in Ibiza and preformed his worldwide hit 'Boasty' at Glastonbury and Wireless festival with Stefflon Don. Tiggs Da Author's 2019 mixtape 'MOREFIRE' attracted attention from Complex, The FADER, Clash and more USA/International - An early version of 'One Fine Day' (The IE Edit) was used in Stella Artois' 2019 'Summer Like Vacation' TV campaign which ran across North America. PR campaign is planned in The States and Europe. Idris' current single 'Girl With The Bat' is being played internationally on RTE 2FM / (Ireland) Delta 90.3 (Argentina), Studio Brussel (Belgium), Top Radio (Belgium), Hot Radio (France), Radio m2o (Italy), Power Hit Radio (Lithuania), NPO 3FM (Netherlands), George FM / (New Zealand) Social Media - The release will be supported on social media by all artists, with a combined audience on Instagram alone of 5 million followers.
