Negash Ali returns to the roots The successful partnership between the legendary DJ Static and Negash Ali is emerging again with a new studio album on the horizon. The hip hop scene gets a taste of what can be expected from the collaboration on the 27. of September with the first single "Moving". Over 10 years ago Negash Ali and Dj Static was part of the Aarhus based rap collective Majors. They worked together on Negashs critically acclaimed debut album "Asmarino". The partnership has formed again as a part of Negashs return from his 8 year long adventure in London, Los Angeles and New York, now to focus on the nearby roots in Denmark. Negash and Dj Static are both determined to have the same uncompromising and "Old School" approach to hip hop, that they've illustrated on their earlier work. The single "Moving" establishes this premise with the high production value along with a raw, adamant and "in your face" vocal tone. "Moving" may have a nostalgic feel of simpler times in hip hop but still gives the scene a breath of fresh air. The project's uncompromising approach is manifested in an overwhelming and fierce metaphorical and lyrical approach, that is combined with a impactful, retrospective music production. The music is a rebirth of Negash's musical principles and raw approach to the music. The music does not only speak to the original fanbase, but also the fans that have an expectation of high lyrical content.
