Canadian house music producer CastNowski went on a dark, bass-oriented path with his Machine-Made Music EP. The four track EP is driven by heavy, deep and distorted basslines that bring an underground and industrial vibe perfectly suited for the atmosphere revolving around his label. "In The Beginning" offers a melodic and uplifting break with soulful vocals, followed by a strong low-end powered bass and synths that get the crowd going. "Break It Down" takes a more energetic direction with a faster paced tempo and four-to-the-floor beat influenced with small a hint of trap patterns. "Never Stop" is the energetic climax of the EP, distorted synths giving it an American Bass House flavour that is suited to pump the crowd while keeping the industrial and underground theme of the EP. The last song, "Reasons", boasts a smoother ambiance to cap off the whole work, with round and heavy g-house inspired bass sounds to get the vibe going until the early morning lights. CastNowski is an upcoming talent with appearances alongside important figures in the electronic music scene in some of the biggest clubs and festivals of the east coast and some stints in Europe in his recent tour. Signed to labels like Feature and Noir Sur Blanc, CastNowski brings his unique sound on May 11th to his brand new label, Fraudulent Records.
