YouTube is where she started, in march she released her first album with original songs. Next up is her single LOVING U with swedish singer Frans. Nicole Cross is especially known for her emotional covers of pop hits, that way she established a fanbase of almost 1 million followers on YouTube. Press has titled her the German Adele - quite rightly, as she proves with her new single. »Some of my fans said the songs on my album SHAPESHIFTER don't suit me, they said it's all way too pop and not my style. That's not actually true, because that music is much more personal than anything I've done before and it's exactly what I want to express as an artist. LOVING U is like a mix between old and new Nicole: it's a very emotional song and also musicwise quite simple. Still, it has a really special vibe and so much more strength then other things I've done before« With her debut-album SHAPESHIFTER, Nicole wanted to show more of herself and not only give room to her voice but also to the artist behind it. On social media she has been revealing more herself, posting pictures of her family or close friends. This is well received by her fans. On facebook almost 125.000 follow the singer, on instagram it is 28.000. Although back then he only came fifth place, it was the now 19-year-old's breakthrough. His hit single was streamed over 100 million times.
