By entitling this first disc "THE SON OF THE COUNTRY", the most popular of the conscious generation's charming and lover singers goes first to meet a first audience more informed and keen on music that refers to the rhythms and instruments of the land. (traditional rhythms and sounds of Benin) for a tribute worthy of a real son; like volume 1 (Title 2 to 8) of this album. Volume 2 (Titles 9 to 17), passing through 1 is a good part of the playlist devoted to main stream music, urban music mixing Afropop and Afrobeat, in the dynamics of reaching another audience that is fond of festivity and of dance. In a melting pot of poetic, philosophical and sociological writings, NIKANOR with other invited artists and not the least, knew thanks to their text to give strength, to the languages of here (Beninese and African) and elsewhere (French and English).
