JARDINS NOIRS
Resourcefulness. Forge a mind of steel. Go into battle. SYSTEME D will be the first EP by artist DJIBZ, freshly signed under the Jardins Noirs / Allpoints label. "Art of getting by in a field with its ingenuity and its logical sense, without material or support", such is the definition of SYSTEM D. For this EP, then the mixtape also scheduled for 2021, the pitch is simple: Djibz will be the Knight of the Street. Leader of the district, dealer of good plans, he knows his ground, and the control of the top of his team, with his weapons. Armed with this imagery of the cavalry (flags, swords, horses, community identity, the need to fight, and loyalty), the entire project will be held by the rise of Commander DJIBZ, and his "The Worst" team. Coming from the English Drill, Djibz has chosen only instrumentals that resemble him. Between heavy kicks, sharp snares and ubiquitous hi-hats, he offers an exercise in style around this modern trend. But Djibz in 2021 is not just the Drill; It is also a desire for openness, and an ability to renew oneself and to open up to new genres.
