New York and Rio de Janiero (November 1, 2008) Describing it as "the record of my life," international dance funk sensation Latino announced the release of his latest album, Junto e Misturado (Joined Together). Known for his trademarked irreverent humor, Latino packs his new album with plenty of surprises. In addition to presenting extreme versatility in the song mix, the artist performs the songs joined together with friends, as if they were chatting at a bar table. And the great surprise is that Latino's friends are some of the most admired talent on the contemporary Brazilian pop music scene, such as Banda Calypso, Jammil, Dudu Nobre, Belo, Bruno & Marrone, Buchecha, Perlla, André & Adriano and Stevie B. Junto e Misturado is a compilation of music about relationships and love conflicts. Its first track is "Amigo Fura-Olho", in which Latino performs with his old friend Daddy Kall – one of the dancers from Brazilian group You Can Dance. In this song, Latino and Daddy Kall borrow the rhythm of "Ella y Yo," a song by Dominican band, Aventura. The rhythm is woven into a story about a man in love with a married woman, and this surprising drama finishes with a solved mystery.
