When you look in the mirror, do you like what you see? If not, then tell us all, what should you be? Tawobi hasn't liked what he's seen in the mirror for a long time. It wasn't until he dropped out of college and moved back to his hometown of Philadelphia back in 2015 that he started to feel like himself. And it wasn't until he received a pack of beats from Bruiser Brigade's own Skywlkr that he started to feel like what he should be. 5 years later he's just that. An artist's artist with unfathomable originality with a sound that is purely his, supported and in work with artists he's looked up to since he was 15. Now 25 with the album he began in 2015 finally complete, ISHOULDBE is the defiant last single from his debut full length titled F.A.T.E (the.Fish.that.Ate.The.Elephant) due out later this year. Tawobi believes we can all become who we should be, what we can be and what we will be. Because it all starts with exactly who you are right now.
