Golden Heart is about discovering your ex-love has found someone new. In that moment it's easy to question every choice you made in the relationship and to wonder if you might want them back. At the very least, it's the moment a break up feels definitive. As such, this song is an unexpected emotional upwelling. Golden Heart is built around a stuttering drum loop that putters like a repetitive thought and minimal swelling synths. When the chorus drops with its huge bass line, it's catharsis though asking pent up questions and ultimately acknowledging your ex-loves golden qualities. It was co-produced by Brook D'Leau.
