Overview- Idris Elba's 'Girl With The Bat' feat. Shadow Boxxer was released in May 2020 and has already amassed well over 2 million steams. The track was recently remixed by DJ and electronic music duo Eli & Fur and now Idris unveils the new remix from 7Wallace label associate and seasoned DJ N:Fostell. N:Fostell releases the massive MK (Marc Kinchen) remix of his track 'After All' on the 21st August, a collaboration with Manchester born singer/songwriter and new artist AmeliaCee. N:Fostell's previous releases include 'Circles' with Natalie Wood, which was remixed by Idris Elba and 'Can't Get Enough' with Nastaly. Idris completed a 2019 residency at Hi in Ibiza and performed his world-wide hit 'Boasty' at Glastonbury and Wireless Festival with Stefflon Don. He recently released a collaboration with The Knocks and Tiggs Da Author entitled 'One Fine Day', a Destructo remix of his 2019 track 'Ballie' with Kah-Lo, and remixes of his track 'On Life' by Jack Back (David Guetta) and Illyus & Barrientos. Radio- 'Girl With The Bat' had support from Pete Tong on Radio 1 who said 'Man like Idris Elba is back sounding strong' and is on heavy rotation on Kiss FM with plays from DJ SKT, Majestic, Charlie Powell, Justin Wilkes, DJ Pioneer, Andi Durrant and is on Kiss Dance playlist. Idris's recent release 'One Fine Day' 03/07/2020 has had plays from Pete Tong on Radio1, Ricki Melvin and Charlie, & Mistajam on BBC Radio 1 and has just gone on rotation on SiriusXM Pitbull's Globalisation channel (US). Press- Idris's 'One Fine Day' single has had press coverage from NME, EDM, Clash, The Line of Best Fit, Dancing Astronaut & more. His music projects have also recently been covered by CNN, Complex and Billboard, amongst others. USA/International- 'Girl With The Bat' is being played internationally on RTE 2FM / (Ireland) Delta 90.3 (Argentina), Studio Brussel (Belgium), Top Radio (Belgium), Hot Radio (France), Radio m2o (Italy), Power Hit Radio (Lithuania), NPO 3FM (Netherlands), George FM / (New Zealand) Live- Idris recently performed a Live streaming DJ set alongside Fat Boy Slim for 'At Home With Fat Boy Slim, Idris Elba & You' in aid of Mind (25 July 2020). He has hosted and performed on MTV's Africa Day concert (May 2020). He also played at Defected's virtual festival to an audience of 100K. In 2019, Idris completed a DJ residency at Hi in Ibiza and preformed his worldwide hit 'Boasty' at Glastonbury and Wireless festival with Stefflon Don. N:Fostell had been hosting live DJ sets under the name N:Fostell X DJ Naughty during the lockdown period, and has recently done guest sets for Kiss Fresh Presents and BBC Radio 1xtra (August 2020). Social Media- The release will be supported on social media by all artists and will also include a paid social media campaign. 'Girl With The Bat' has also been trending on TikTok and Triller, gaining number 1 in Tik Toks 'Dance UK' playlist and number 3 in their 'New Music' playlist. On Triller it hit number 1 trend in the UK and number 8 trend globally.
