Astropolis Records' 8th release will submerge you in the very heart of an authentic rave. Biting, sullen, sharp techno produced by two cornerstones of the Brest-ish label: Electric Rescue (Mod3rn, Skryptom) and The Driver (aka Manu le Malin), which nowadays form a distinguished duo: W.LV.S. Following their previous 2014 The Wolves EP on Astropolis Records and most recently a release alongside JoeFarr on RAAR, the two French rave militants are back on 3 tracks with this new EP. First batch starts with Misericordia, a wistful, sooty though really catchy track that grabs you without respite. Astounding and breathless, this black mass incantation drags you into a raging storm with haunting synth lines and chasing drums. Used as closing track for Mario Raulin's and Sourdoreille's documentary "Sous le Donjon de Manu le Malin" Misericordia already gained countrywide reputation. The B-Side welcomes two other tracks, sombrely named Black Smith & Black Diva.?Black Smith deepens the path taken by the first track. Hemmed in twilight, the track leads to a winding journey into a grimed universe, constantly rising. Black Diva strikingly tolls the bells of the EP. At an unrestrained rythm, metallic and distorted reverbations, alienating throbbings whirl together and create a honorary rave track with remorseless dancefloor efficiency.
