Play Me Too Records
The long awaited release of the Funk Phenomena EP brings a new sound to Electronic Dance Music. The EP by Retrospect & Maksim fuse simple funk based melodies whilst incorporating hard hitting sounds which guarantee to grab the listeners attention. The sounds are clean cut, similar to that of his influences which include Koan Sound and Culprate. Maksim has previously had success with Play Me Records but this release is very different for him; here, he's combined fully with the producer to bring a rare combination in EDM- one where production and vocals complement each other fully throughout the tracks.
