High Focus Records is proud to present the release of Leaf Dog's debut album 'From A Scarecrow's Perspective' dropping June 13th 2011. Leaf Dog has been dabbling with wordplay for the best part of ten years. One third of underground heroes The Three Amigos and beat maker to the stars, the time has come for Leaf Dog to add his debut solo release 'From A Scarecrow's Perspective' to an already bulging back catalogue of crew releases, live plaudits, guest features and production credits. In a world where reinventing and re-evaluating everything has become standard practice, Leaf Dog is an example of an artist who remains dedicated to the principles that make underground hip hop one of the most exciting forms of musical expression on the planet. Leaf is a true devotee to the inventive punchlines, catchy hooks and classic boom bap beat patterns. This is evident from the very first track (and debut single) 'Some People Say' and these principles define the album from beginning to end. Either as a solo artist or as part of The Three Amigos, alongside fellow emcee BVA and producer Naive, Leaf Dog has gained a strong following across the land for coming with a truly unique style when delivering some of the realest lyrics around. His unique outlook has seen Leaf and his gang support a long list of renowned artists on the live circuit including KRS One, The Godfather of Noyze Rahzel, the almighty Sugar Hill Gang and DJ hall-of-famer Cash Money, and names such as Foreign Beggars, Skinny Man, Klashnekoff, Terra Firma, Million Dan and Blak Twang from this side of the pond. It is one thing performing on the same stage as such illustrious names, but Leaf Dog does not stop there. 'From A Scarecrow's Perspective' boasts an all-star cast of guest features including Flipmode Squad legend Rampage on the anthem track 'The Stomp', and D.I.T.C forefather Diamond D on the classic 'Before the Days'. And if all this wasn't enough... Fliptrix, Verb T, Kid Genius, BVA MC and Assa all feature and with Naive, Leafdog and Ghosttown on production credits 'From A Scarecrow's Perspective promises to be a modern day classic.
