Israeli masters of psytrance Infected Mushroom are again exerting their dominance and artistic ferocity with their latest "Fields Of Grey." As the lead single on the group's upcoming LP 'Converting Vegetarians II,' the track is an exciting collaboration that debuts vocals from the notorious Sasha Grey. The original, a dreamy robotic track that leads with a powerful melody before plummeting into a characteristically layered bass drop, receives three unique remix treatments from Riot, Au5 and Skazi. Riot's rendition is full of charge, pairing a sturdy bass line with laser-fast synths for a modern dubstep banger. Also embracing dubstep influence is Au5, whose remix is hard-hitting yet illuminated by traces of trance. Skazi magnifies the track's futuristic elements and paints them into a galactic battlefield of drum kicks and electric synth strums.
