Leaning into the vast and all-encompassing realm of pop-rock, The Damn Yes crafts a rosy thumper of a beat from delicately plucked guitar over warm piano and inviting snaps. Through pitched vocals, the vocalist races through pleas for intimacy until the build surges from focused passion. By the time this all meets the simple hook, "hold me in your arms for all eternity," the record's already managed to concentrate the endless bliss sitting between pop & EDM in such a small package.
