''Epitaphe'' is a song that highlights what is at the root of rap: ego trip, the construction of striking lines, confidence and collaboration. Koriass, Sarahmee and Souldia show us what they have in their bellies on a solid production by Ruffsound. This single will appear on the next Koriass album which is scheduled for release in the fall of 2021. Before the release of his album, we also plan to release at least two other singles to create a buzz around the project. The single ''Epitaphe'' will be accompanied by a music video that will be released the day before, Thursday, March 25, 2021. These release dates have been thought to correspond to a television performance as part of the show ''La Fin des Faibles'' which will take place during the month of March. This show is a rap competition broadcast on Tele-QC during prime time and for which the jury members are none other than Koriass, Sarahmee and Souldia. The three judges will perform ''Epitaphe'' at the end of the season and the video will be released the day after this broadcast. Biography Koriass: In June 2015, it's his show with "big band" at the Francofolies de Montreal, which draws attention as he is given the biggest stage of the event, on the Place des Festivals. At the end of 2015, the rapper launches without warning a 5-track digital EP - Petit Love - as a preamble to the album Love Supreme, to be released in February of the following year. The year 2016 was a busy year for the rapper, who was present on all the stages. The fall will see him add numerous awards and nominations to his roadmap, as he receives the Felix award for Hip-Hop Album of the Year at L'ADISQ, in addition to 8 nominations for record and show, and the Artist of the Year award at GAMIQ. The year 2017 will start off strong for Koriass with a nomination at the JUNO Awards in the Francophone Album of the Year category as well as the Francophone Artist of the Year award at the 17th INDIES of Canadian Music Week in Toronto. Considered one of the leaders in Quebec rap, Koriass will be the first rapper to be nominated in the prestigious Male Performer of the Year category at the 2017 ADISQ Gala. In the fall of 2018, Koriass returns in force with La Nuit des Longs Couteaux, a powerful new album that combines the melodies of his songs with his trademark scathing lyrics. Presenting this new opus at two full-length launches at Imperial Bell in Quebec City and the MTELUS in Montreal, Koriass announced an additional show at the MTELUS a few months later, in addition to launching his tour across Quebec. In 2019, Koriass dominates the ADISQ nominations with seven mentions, including Album of the Year - Rap, Songwriter or Composer of the Year, Video of the Year (Five to Seven), Cover of the Year, Sound Recording and Mixing of the Year, Record Production of the Year and Sound Recording of the Year. He also received a new nomination at the JUNOS Awards for Francophone Album of the Year. In 2020, he returns with a new project "Genies en Herbe" in collaboration with the Quebec rapper FouKi with whom he has already collaborated several times. Biography Sarahmee : Now an essential part of the Quebec rap scene, Sarahmee is making a remarkable comeback with her critically acclaimed second album, Irreversible. Sarahmee delivers an album with an assertive message, reinforced by refined flows and skillfully mastered Afro-Latin rhythms. After a remarkable appearance at the National Day on the Plains of Abraham, Sarahmee begins a tour of festivals. Invited by the rapper Chilla during her Planete Rap, on the legendary radio Skyrock in Paris, Sarahmee also performs at the FrancoFaune Festival in Brussels. The first hip-hop artist to be nominated in the Revelation of the Year category at the Gala de l'Adisq, Sarahmee takes part in the opening number of the Gala broadcast live on Radio-Canada television. The singer-songwriter also earned a nomination at the Gala Dynastie, which honours black excellence, in addition to her performance. The Gala closes Black History Month, for which Sarahmee acts as spokesperson alongside comedian Aba, earning her a spot on the program Tout le monde en parle. Guided by a positive message, Sarahmee proposes the clip "Bun Dem", which depicts the reality of African women by addressing the theme of forced marriage, while maintaining hope and resilience as a beacon. The docu-video shot in her home country of Senegal and directed by Caraz (Romeo and Son) earned a Juno nomination in the Music Video of the Year category. As an artist and also a model, the rapper has participated in advertising campaigns for Sephora, New Look and Fizz. After exploding in the public eye in 2020, Sarahmee continued her path with the announcement of a new album to be released in 2021. The first single from her new opus, Le coeur a ses raisons, is in keeping with what we love about this young singer-songwriter: wild rhythms with African sounds coupled with a text that is in its time and inclusive, a secret that only Sarahmee has. In order to put forward and support local associations working for the emancipation and empowerment of youth, people from different ethnic groups and women throughout the communities, Sarahmee and the artisans of the video clip of Le coeur a ses raisons have decided to give their stamp to the following associations: Mouvement pour des ecoles sans violences sexuelles (MESVS) - Comite jeunesse a Montreal, DOD Basketball - Maison des jeunes de Saint-Leonard, Never Was Average and Equipe RDP. Souldia Biography : Originally from Quebec City, Souldia plunged into rap at the age of 15. With one foot in youth centers and the other in the street, he takes pleasure in depicting the criminality that surrounds him, the system that oppresses him and the rage of Quebec City's underprivileged neighborhoods. Souldia quickly introduces us to a solo career. A signature with Explicit Production will follow. For more than 10 years now, Souldia has been releasing records and touring extensively in Quebec. In 2018, Souldia releases " Survivant ", its 6th solo album in its career. In ZONERAP's charts, Souldia is named Franco Rap Artist of the Year 2018 and "Survivor" is the rap album of the year 2018. In 2019, Souldia is nominated at ADISQ for "Album of the Year - Rap" and "Album of the Year - Best Seller". The Quebec rapper performs more than thirty shows, most of them sold out. He participates in the opening act of ADISQ 2019 and has the honor of opening Sinik's show at La Cigale in Paris. In 2020, Souldia returned to Quebec with the album "Backstage". The rap star Queb presents us with a new high-light project. This album is nothing more than a VIP backstage pass.
