Dancefloor endurance masters Duro return fresh from their fourth anniversary celebrations with the return of one of their most enigmatic artists: AMBIANCE Inspired by film scores, analogue machines and the twists and turns of existence, the Nicaraguan-born, Miami-raised, LA-based artist has hit the spot twice on the Mexican label before. Now he's taken that spot and shot it right into the heart of the sun. Make way for 'Electronic Emergency'… Channelling the high voltage spirit of Kraftwerk with booming 808 subs, icy Street Sounds flavoured breaks and a touch of lyrical poignancy no one can ignore, 'Electronic Emergency' is a nuclear electro jam for modern day escapism. It comes with some explosive remixes, too: Rigopolar switches the beats to four-four juggernauts and swathes the original's magic in heavy cosmic layers while Kincaid continues his impeccable vein of form with a moodier perspective, loaded with far-gazing synth spirals, tidal washes and slippery icicle arpeggios.
