Following on from the Nyte Manoeuvres LP released in 2019, Soulfuledge's Nyte Music imprint kicks of 2023 with 'Down in Flames' a heady & vibrant slice of sumptuous late-night soulful music. We couldn't be more stoked to welcome the stunning talent that is Kerrie Masters to the label with her & Soulfuledge's debut release. With an impressive resume already in tow, Kerrie's musical background is most definitely the real deal, self-releasing a collection of heartfelt soulful EPs & performing at notable venues across the UK; Kerrie's rise in the music scene is moving at pace! 'Down In Flames' is brimming with rich Rhodes, sweeping percussive undertones & a nibbly, infectious analogue bassline, it's a real late-night moment which perfectly showcases Kerrie's vocal abilities. Finding that balance between powerful, emotive & soulful is no easy thing yet her transitions across all facets of the track are as effortless as they are striking.
