Yung Gwapa is an American rapper hailing from the Southside of Chicago, Englewood Community. The versatile rapper lost his father at the age of 8 and grew up in a single parent household, which caused him to grow up at an early age and become the man of the house. Hustling became a way of life for the emerging star. He started rapping as a teenager as it became a trend in his high school. He started off playing around and writing raps but when he started getting idolized for his skills in high school, he started taking his career seriously. He quickly realized music was his creative outlet. Gwap moved to ATL to further his music career and began working in the likes of Future and Blac Youngsta. To date he's best known for his single "Thick Cinderella" which became an instant radio hit. He's been featured in major publications from WorldStar and HipHopWeekly to HotNewHipHop, Allhiphop.com and Rolling Out Magazine. Gwapa has accumulated over 400,000 streams on YouTube and Spotify. He has collaborated with Takeoff from the Migos as well as artists such as Big Bank, Lil Dirk, Young Scooter and Skippa Da Flippa. Yung Gwapa is also the CEO of his own record label Black Heart Music Group, which he founded in 2011. He is currently promoting his EP "Re-Rock" and his first single "Stiff" off the project.
