High Focus Records is proud to present the latest release from soul and blues sensation Rag 'N' Bone Man & Hip Hop all star Leaf Dog. 'Dog & Bone' is the most unique outing from High Focus Records to date. It proves that the label has grown from a strictly dedicated UK hip hop label into a fully fledged music making platform in the space of a short few years. The premise is simple, one singer and one producer get together and make a record, yet the results are far from straightforwards. Having met High Focus stalwart Leaf Dog (The Four Owls, Brothers Of The Stone, RLD Records) back in early 2012 and setting-up camp in producer and engineer 184's studio in Brighton town, the classic boom bap template that has made Leaf Dog one of the most respected producers in the game quickly became a match made in heaven for the Rag 'N' Bone Mans songwriting verve. The result is 'Dog 'N' Bone'; an eight-track EP of swinging and soulful modern day classic tracks that tell stories and life lessons of heartbreak, reflection and for want of a better term, 'reality' on each and every joint. 'Dog 'N' Bone' is a timeless piece of work. With so many elements sourced from the past, but with a level of production that ensures it has a sophisticated and polished 2013 sound, there really are no limits to where this record can take Rag 'N' Bone Man & Leaf Dog.
