The Confidence Emperors
One classically trained producer/songwriter with a knack for writing pop songs came from London, England and one producer/songwriter/techno-rebel with an affinity for programming came from the east coast of Canada. They met in a recording studio, formed a group, released an album and broke up. They found this liberating. They could pursue their own projects and work together whenever it suited them. They could write whatever kinds of songs they wanted and use whichever singers fit the songs. That is why they are called My Last Crush.
