Nyah began performing in musical theatre when she was 7 years old. Her first "big" role, at just 10 years old, was as Flounder in The Little Mermaid. From there she was cast as Gavroche in Les Miserables and most recently she was Dorothy in The Wiz. ​ Nyah first sang the National Anthem at the University of Oregon's Matthew Knight Arena in front of 10,875 people at just 11 years old. She has performed for the Ducks over three dozen times since then, and has also performed multiple times for the Portland Trailblazers and Eugene Emeralds. ​ In November 2017, Grammy-nominated Sony Music Writer/Producer and CEO of InRage Entertainment, Bruce "Automatic" Vanderveer saw a youtube video of Nyah performing her cover of Pink's 'What About Us' and also performing the National Anthem in front of an estimated 19,500 people at Portland's Moda Center for the NBA's Trailblazers. Two months after first learning about Nyah, InRage Entertainment signed her as an "Artist in Development" with the plan to help Nyah further develop her song writing ability, vocal skills and stage presence, and have her ready to release her first single within two years. With Nyah traveling frequently from her family's home in Florence to InRage's headquarters in southern California, it took just a few months for Automatic to realize there was no reason to wait two years...Nyah was ready! Nyah recorded her first single, 'Empty Spaces', in September 2018, and released it to the public in February 2019. Nyah's second single, 'Flowers On My Grave' went live on August 2, 2019 and her third, 'Midnight', dropped September 27, 2019. All three song were written by Nyah and produced by Automatic with help from the incredible team at InRage Entertainment. Nyah has spent the majority of her 15 years living in the small Coastal Oregon town of Florence. "I love Florence…I love the coast of Oregon…it's my home", says Nyah.
