Brenboy teams up with artists from his hometown; the Grants Pass local favourite, soul singer Adam Knight and electronic music producer Justin Bjur. All three grew up in Southern Oregon and have been active in the music industry for the last several years. In Deep Underground, Brenboy solidifies his place in the Portland Hip Hop scene and reminds the listener that lyrical rap is alive, vibrant, and necessary in Portland Underground. As KBOO's Urban Music director and Hip Hop coordinator, Brenboy has been devoted to showcasing local talent and giving upcoming artists a platform to share their music.
