Singer/producer Rina Sawayama is sharing a new single 'Cyber Stockholm Syndrome', produced by Hoost and Clarence Clarity. The next release from London-based, Japan-born Rina - tipped as one of The Fader's artists to watch in 2017 - follows breakout single 'Where U Are'. Rina's much-anticipated debut album is due to be confirmed for release later this year. As its title signposts, 'Cyber Stockholm Syndrome' finds Rina re-engaging with ideas of anxiety in the digital age, as she adroitly explored on the whip-smart 'Where U Are'. A study of the universally slavish love/hate relationship we all wrestle with our online 'Best Self', 'Cyber Stockholm Syndrome' nonetheless packs an absolute head-rush of a chorus ('Came here on my own / Party on my own'), propelled by Clarence Clarity/Hoost's precision beats and a slick vocal from Ri channelling 'Touch My Body'-era Mariah Carey.
