Consistently pushing the boundaries of modern sonics, Botnek delivers their blistering 4-track EP "Buffering..." After kicking off the package with "ur 2 cool," a mammoth "vomitstep" collaboration with fellow Canadian Snails, the duo maintains a pace of 128 with the breakbeat / electro hybrid "Simple Sounds." They also remix their own track "Losing My Mind" into a darkwave / industrial-tinged monster before closing out the EP with "Pickles!," a quirky house number reminiscent of the pioneering sound Botnek has become known for.
