Originally from La Roche-sur-Yon, Ikaz Boi is a French composer who has taken his time to build his universe. Lulled by the music of the American West Coast, he started producing with Dr. Dre's "2001" as his main influence. Throughout his career, he has been able to nourish his music with multiple influences, from J. Dilla to more electronic references, in order to create a hybrid music, which he began to expose to the world of French rap with Veerus and Joke between 2012 and 2014, also helped by instrumental solo projects that have succeeded in retaining a sharp audience and allowing him to discover French venues live. His productions on the Damso and Hamza projects will have finished convincing France and it is in 2016 that he will spend a new level of his career collaborating across the Atlantic with the excellent Wondagurl. As a result of their collaboration, they will produce a Travis Scott & Quavo title, which will place it on the world map. His will being to set his music and vision in time, and despite the increasing investments, he will continue to work on solo projects, on which he will be able to draw from the depths of his influences and plunge the listener into a real world, far from our space-time where genres will marry harmoniously to make us travel. Having released a project with the Bromance label, then his first mixtape "BRUTAL" composed of instrumental tracks and international featurings, he has gained in maturity, perfecting each day his art to deliver today "BRUTAL 2" a concentrate of influences, mixing bangers and moments of life.
