Dan Bull and Beit Nun have returned. This time together, for their long awaited collaboration EP, Brandy Night. Originally planned almost a decade previously, and inspired by a shared passion of Brandy-induced late night/early morning song-writing and appreciation of very similar styles of music, in the Autumn of 2014, the project began. Recorded over a single weekend in Birmingham, England in November 2014, Brandy Night is a concept album loosely based around the experience of a single night drinking Brandy, and the effects it has on the mind, soul and body. The mood of the record is generally that of a chilled/introspective nature, as Dan and Nun trade their trademark intricately placed conscious and thought-provoking lyrics (often sprinkled with elements of humour and wit) over a backdrop of 6 mellow, epically produced instrumentals. To be served in almost any setting, amongst friends or alone. ABOUT DAN Dan Bull is a rap artist who focused on geek culture, such as video games, internet issues, science fiction and fantasy. Dan;s films have been screened at Westminster Palace, the Copenhagen Summit and SXSW; on BBC, Channel 4 and Sky News, and Panorama; and featured in The Times, Guardian, Spectator, Metro, and Empire Magazine. Fans include Yoko Ono, Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright, Dave Gorman, Stephen Fry, Graham Linehan, and film critic Roger Ebert. Dan's music is also included in a number of well-known video games. Dan records all of his songs at home on his gaming PC. He makes his tracks in Cubase, which he was taught at school and has been using ever since. Dan strongly believes in the DiY ethic of music and is making strides with no assistance from record labels. ABOUT BEIT NUN Beit Nun is a Hip-Hop artist from Macclesfield, UK, and is the founder/owner of Innit Records. He is one half of Hip-Hop duo Amass Hegemony, alongside fellow MC 777, and also a member of the NW Hip-Hop movement (alongside artists such as DJ Benny E, Gouki Productions, Vecta Sigma, Pedigree Chumps, EdXL, Butch Touch, Filthy Rich, A.I., Ganggreen and Seven Scarrz) who regularly perform live shows up and down the country.
