Highsnob under esclusive license to Believe Digital srl
"BIPOPULAR" is the first official solo album by Highsnob, which has become a reference point in the Italian trap/rap scene. With a substantial publication of videos on Youtube and the creation of the PrettyBoy EP in 2017, the artist has managed to conquer his slice of the Music Industry and to gain more space in the Italian underground. The new ambitious project takes shape in 2018: Bipopular is the exact expression of a courageous research of sound and a contamination between different styles. Highsnob has created a sonic self-portrait, the result of a well done and homogeneous malgame, in which the sounds that have influenced the artist's life live in harmony, beyond the pure rap scene: from jazz to funky, to future bass and trap. The resulting sound is the musical structure that allowed him to better enhance the melodies that are, together with the pungent punchlines, his hallmark. The Album Title is a graphic pun that expresses a double value, between the determination to reach the wide audience and the need to share how a psychological difficulty can be transformed into the common thread of the project and tell us about the oscillation of the tone in the humour of the artist and the facets of his psyche, translating everything into an interesting musical nuance. The melodic line of the album is therefore the result of the meticulous work of Highsnob that has entrusted the arrangements of all the album tracks to the eclectic producer Pankees, of which he is also the composer, together with Alvino, Dat Boi Dee and Noise: four producers necessarily different but never far away from each other, who share the characteristic of being recognizable, each one in their tracks, already at the first listening, as a trademark clearly highlighted. Highsnob has accustomed us immediately to look a bit further, strong credibility that has been achieved through to the hardness and sincerity of his contents, the courage of those who have something to say and do it through the dissing, because he knows well the rules of the rap game, but he also knows how to give us a little lightness and colors.
