Ferdinand is seen as an undiscovered pop comet. With strong influences from artists like David Bowie, Lady Gaga, Freddie Mercury and the Kpop culture, he knows how to entertain an audience. In other words, he is a well-rounded entertainer. The style is expressive, "over the top", theatrical, shameless, challenging and liberating. The songs he plays are seen as "larger than life" and guilty pleasure. It's hard not to get carried away when Ferdinand brings his band and dancers - something you don't want to miss. His new single "Best Friend" is about a friendship where you are not together, but not friends. In other words - an undefned "friends with benefits".
