Impossible Records
Coming in hot with their second EP with Impossible Records, is South African bass slaying duo, 'We Drop'. Taking on all forms of bass music, starting with dnb, and now producing cutting edge hybrid bass music, these two are catching attention from producers world wide. Right out of the gate, 'The Fight' sets up this EP with beautifully constructed keyboards, flowing into a wicked glitch hop style, melody and feel. You think it's going to be heady glitch-hop, but then it morphs into a vicious, dirty, dubstep drop. 'With the Flow' sets the pace for this jammin' EP with endless vibe, and 'We Drop's skillfully crafted dubstep and dnb production style. Lastly, and our personal favorite, 'Broken Bones' hits all the right places of hybrid trap n bass. This track has 808 kicks, snares and hats mixed with aggressive high leads all while maintaining their signature bass tones and rich mixing style. Each song is accompanied by their own personal vocals hyping you up as you follow along and offering words of enlightenment to chew on. These young producers, who also happen to be brothers, bring a breath of fresh air to todays dubstep scene. Over to fast, this is without a doubt a true head banging EP.
